Chinese President Xi Jinping has named a new head of the military’s anti-corruption body.
Wang Gang was also promoted to the rank of full general and would take over as head of the PLA Air Force, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
Two other former CMC members, Liu Zhenli and Miao Hua, are also under investigation, leaving Xi and Zhang Shengmin as the only remaining members of the commission, whose current five-year term began in 2022.
