Wang's trip centers on cross-border transportation and trade connections as he advocates for deeper synchronization of the two nations' development plans.

"China's policy toward Mongolia remains stable and consistent, and it has always prioritized the advancement of bilateral ties within its neighborhood diplomacy framework," Wang stated during his Saturday meeting with President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.

"China is both willing and capable of serving as a dependable neighbor, a trusted ally, and a partner to accelerate Mongolia's development."

Wang further emphasized Beijing's desire to harmonize the development strategies of the two countries and urged both sides to advance existing collaborations in infrastructure, commerce, and energy. He also called for enhanced cooperation in critical minerals, sustainable development, and the digital economy.

In response, Khurelsukh noted that bilateral trade is projected to reach US$20 billion this year.

He affirmed that friendship with China stands as a key foreign policy objective for Ulaanbaatar, vowing: "Mongolia will not take any actions that harm China's interests due to its ties with other nations."
